Preliminaries
This course is for UPM stakeholders, staff and faculty members in particular, who wish to make the best out of the pandemic by performing tasks and working together online through the use of Google Workspace, a suite of cloud-based software applications. Not intending to cover all applications included in the Google Workspace, the course has just selected several for the benefit of the participants.
At the end of the training, the participants shall have been able to maximize use of Google Workspace in the following respects:
- Meeting and learning together online
- Advanced use of email
- Documents creation and editing
- Files management and sharing
- Creating and tracking events and tasks
Who may participate? What are the requirements?
- Regular/permanent staff
- Temporary/contractual employee or job-order staff
- Faculty member
- Participants have a high level of familiarity with a web browser, particularly Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
- Participants have active up.edu.ph email accounts.
- Participants have UPM ADS accounts.
