The objective of the exercise is for the participants to get more familiarized with Google Meet.

Mechanics:

  1. Know your grouping. Download and read the uploaded file here for your reference.
  2. Each sub-group will meet via Google Meet. The first person in the sub-group will initiate the meeting. In the meeting, discuss and agree who else, except the last person in the sub-group, will organize Google Meet meetings next, one at a time. The number of participants to organize meetings next must be between 1 and 3.
  3. Each person will initiate a Google Meet meeting. In the meeting, participants must spend at most 5 minutes getting the feel of Google Meet while exploring several features like screen sharing.
  4. The last person in the sub-group will organize the last meeting of the sub-group. In the meeting, spend around 10 minutes enumerating the following:
    • Cool features you like with Google Meet
    • Features you don't see (which you do in Zoom, etc.), if any, in Google Meet
    • Problems encountered in using Google Meet
    • Adjustments made, if any, concerning problems encountered
  5. Discuss in your group who will prepare the minutes of the last meeting.
  6. Your group has two options in submitting your output: Write in the online text box, where the minutes will be entered, or upload a file containing the minutes. Discuss in your group who will do this.
