It’s always a challenge for me in giving feedback to my students, especially when we know that they will always have a feeling of resistance when the things we say may not be acceptable to them.
I always try to find the proper words or statements that will provide honest feedback, but also create a sense of ownership for there responsibilities in trying to improve or provide a better version of themselves.
Good communication will provide a good response or feedback that will be beneficial for both the learners and us faculty.
In order to overcome this challenges I always make it a point to maintain a good teacher and student learning environment and talk to my students with honesty and avoiding making comments without taking both sides of the story, this type of approach always provided me good outcomes in trying to resolve my learners issues.
