ChatGPT and AI are actually very helpful tools in the pursuit of knowledge and promoting creativity and flexibility in research if used properly. However, the convenience in the use of ChatGPT and AI coupled with lack of responsibility can threaten the validity and integrity in research. Again, like all technologies available to us, the used/misuse can be helpful or disadvantageous to the research community.
