    In this unit, you will be introduced to the basic management process of planning, leading, organizing, and controlling.  This unit will also help you look into your own institution’s management processes, clarifying your role as part of the organization.  Different leadership styles will also be discussed and how each style affects your own organization’s decision-making processes.

      During our last session, we talked about organizational change. 

      To manage change, you need to be equipped with several skills needed as you go through the different stages of program planning and in performing your different roles as manager or administrator.

      In this topic your will be learning the different tools of the trade.

    • F2F Session: TBA

      Because of changes in schedule and reduction of F2F session, the following will be our program for Nov 25:

      Unit 2.2 Management Function Planning: 

      This unit will run till the end of the course.
      For this F2F session, we will look at your problem analyses and then provide some inputs on formulating program outcomes or converting your PA to Program Objectives. For our next F2F, we will focus on the remaining components of your program plan.

      Unit 2.3 Leading and Directing

      This will serve as our parallel session in the Nov 25 F2F session.

      1. Discuss Leadership
      2. Analyze own's leadership style.

        Your final paper will also serve as your final examination. To serve as final examination, be sure to provide all the theoretical discussion requirement of each Chapter and Section.
