Preparation of Instructional Media

Each student is expected to develop one multimedia project.

Guidelines:

Keep in mind that developer (student) will have to write a final report (minimum of 2000 words) consisting of:

1. A first page with a suitable title and sufficient information about the author.
2. A summary providing the highlight of the report.
3. An introduction with at least the description of the (fictive) company or institute that sponsored or requested the project, the specifications of the target group, and a good rational or how the project will serve the target group. (based on results of ASSURE planning process)
4. Description of the project and justification of the navigation structures and styles (color, text, pictures, sound, etc) and the rules applied.

Final Oral Report

During the final week, an electronic poster presentation will be conducted. Each student will have the opportunity to show his or her project in a kiosk that will be set-up in the library or in designated place. Questions can be asked by other students during the presentation and answers and justification have to be provided concerning the design choices. Comments should be collected and must be considered in the final written report.
