Concern About Being Assigned as a Clinical Teacher:
One of my primary concerns about being assigned as a clinical teacher is ensuring that each student receives adequate guidance and learning opportunities despite the often unpredictable and high-pressure nature of clinical settings. In areas like the Operating Room, where patient safety and workflow efficiency are paramount, balancing student learning with clinical responsibilities can be challenging. I worry about not having enough time to provide immediate feedback, facilitate reflective learning, or support struggling students effectively, especially when the environment demands strict adherence to routines and protocols. Ensuring equitable learning experiences for all students while maintaining patient care standards is a responsibility I take seriously and carefully plan for.
