During one of our research projects, I witnessed a situation where a group member's name was excluded from the research proposal without prior discussion or consent from them. This was a clear case of authorship misconduct, as the individual had contributed to the project and should have been included as an author.

The issue was reported to our research teacher, who handled it by addressing the situation with the group members. Our teacher emphasized the importance of fair communication and transparent decision-making processes, particularly regarding authorship. This led to a deeper understanding of proper research ethics and the significance of collaboration and consent.

As a result, the situation prompted the group to improve communication, ensuring that all members were involved in discussions about contributions, tasks, and authorship. There was a stronger emphasis on equal task distribution, and the group worked together more cohesively, with everyone having a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities. The incident highlighted the importance of mutual respect and proper procedures in academic collaboration.
