initially I wanted to teach ordinary people practical ways they can do t9 help prevent the spread of Covid-19.

May be if I plan to push through with it, Will have to utilize Social media like FB to reach plenty of people. It’s frustrating because DOH is already teaching them only a few practical things like Social distancing & personal hygiene & they don’t follow!

The positive effect of Covid 19 is that the faculty were finally forced to shift to online learning & have to learn the new LMS (Canvas).

As a graduate of Public Health and health professions educator, I would advice the committee to heed Science. Because of the faltering economy, they lifted the restrictions early, hence the rising trend again of new infections in Metro Manila hospitals. I would advice them to listen to what the Social anthropologist are saying because they may have strategies to better reach the masses or how to impart the information to them that would make it relevant to them for better compliance of the restrictions. I would also advice IATF to bring on board medical anthropologist also, because they might be able to explain to those believing in “tuob” to contain the viral spread in Cebu. To bring on board anybody that may have simple & practical suggestions/solutions to quell the spread of this disease.
