Is the Assessment Good or Not?

Two observations  make this assessment not a good one. 1. There is no immediate recording done for the checklists. This practice is prone to inaccuracies in assigning grades and even to its validity due to recall problems. The checklists may instead be transferred to an electronic format (in a gadget)  which will negate the reason of having to carry a bunch of papers. 2. Individualized feedback is critical to any learning process. While group feedback may also have its advantages, individualized formative assessment feedback is essential for the learner to make the necessary adjustments during the learning period. Effort should be given to make individualized feedback going as far as to assign one more evaluator to divide the load.

Agree with electronic forms. Shifting to google forms has helped us a lot in grading clerks during clinic preceptorials. It discourages consultants from delaying feedback since they have to fill them up using the students' devices.

I agree the electronic forms can be utilized for ease in access and assessment, Also the results will be readily available and there can be enough time for specific feedbacks to each intern regarding the results of the assessment tool
