What major challenge do you think you will encounter in applying what you have learned from anatomy?
The major challenge I would encounter in applying anatomy in my course would be confusion about the parts of an organ, especially the brain because we were unable to dissect and examine its components in real life. The structure of an animated figure or a model is different from the real one, hence the confusion.
2. What are your plans to overcome this challenge?
Last year, I planned on dissecting a heart and a brain; however, I didn’t have the time and resources. Now, I am planning on buying a dissecting kit and the organs to dissect and examine on the semestral break. If this plan would be unsuccessful, I would search for images of true-to-life organs and their complicated parts.
