The concept in our lesson today that I was interested in the most is wound healing, which may be epidermal or deep wound healing. Epidermal healing happens when only the superficial epidermal cells are affected or need to be repaired (gasgas or abrasion only). On the other hand, deep wound healing, from the name itself, happens to deep wounds and involves 4 phases: inflammatory, migratory, proliferative, and maturation. I was fascinated by our body's mechanism to repair itself and heal on its own. Applying this concept in real life reminds us to always be careful and take good care of our bodies.
