Course Description:
Application (integration) of theories of curriculum and instructional design and general principles of community based education in designing undergraduate and graduate community oriented and community based HPEd programs.
Prerequisites:
HP 211 (curriculum planning) and HP 221(instructional design)
Intended Learning Outcomes:
Graduates of this course should be able to:
- Design a Community Based HP Education Program
- CBE Curriculum
- Management plan.
- Evaluation plan.
- Appreciate the importance of community based education in the holistic development of health professionals.
- Advocate community based education as component of health professions education.
