Course Description:

Application (integration) of theories of curriculum and instructional design and general principles of community based education in designing undergraduate and graduate community oriented and community based HPEd programs.

Prerequisites:

HP 211 (curriculum planning) and HP 221(instructional design)

Intended Learning Outcomes:

Graduates of this course should be able to:

  1. Design a Community Based HP Education Program
    1. CBE Curriculum
    2. Management plan.
    3. Evaluation plan.
  2. Appreciate the importance of community based education in the holistic development of health professionals.
  3. Advocate community based education as component of health professions education.
