Objectives:

At the end of this module, the student should be able to:

  1. Obtain a systematic and comprehensive clinical history and perform an adequate physical examination on a patient with facial fractures

  2. Discuss the pathophysiology, signs and symptoms of facial fractures

  3. Describe the different types of facial fractures and arrive at a complete diagnosis 

  4. Describe ancillary procedures for the diagnosis of facial fractures

  5. Discuss the principles of management for facial fractures
