Hello. I'm Louisse Julianna P. Ayuyao, but just LJ is okay, too. Through the Disaster Nursing course, I hope to learn the ins-and-outs about a nurse's role in preparing for and responding to disasters. I personally have never had a direct or personal experience with disasters, and so feel unprepared to help people in the face of such events. I aim to develop enough understanding and the appropriate skills needed to conduct effective disaster management, so that I may put these into practice when the need arises.
