Based on my Educational Philosophies Self-assessment, I scored highest in Constructivism (25 points), which truly reflects how I view teaching and learning. I believe that students learn best when they are actively involved in the process of their own experiences. Learning is not just about receiving information, it’s about exploring, questioning, and building understanding through real-life situations. Some Teaching-learning strategy that I learned in this course can be used to achieve that learning such as role-playing, simulations and case discussion.
As an educator, I see my role not as someone who simply gives answers, but as a guide who creates the right environment for learning to happen. I aim to support my students by giving them opportunities to reflect, ask questions, and connect new ideas with what they already know. When they face challenges or things that they don’t understand, I believe those moments can lead to deeper learning, as long as I’m there to support and encourage their growth.
I believe it is my responsibility to help learners reach their full potential by making learning meaningful, active, and student-centered. My objective is to create an environment where students feel empowered to think critically, engage deeply, and take ownership of their learning.
