A colleague of mine (he is currently taking up a masters degree in theology in a different university) mentioned how his professor caught his classmate using ChatGPT. His professor ran all of his classmate's papers through an AI checker, and the paper of his classmate was found to be 80-90% AI generated. My colleague called a meeting to discuss this misconduct with his batch mates, and accompanied that said student to the office of the professor. The student was asked to resubmit his paper, but still got a failing mark for that submission. That said, it was a learning experience for that student, my colleague, and for their entire batch.
