A colleague of mine shared to us how he was marked poorly for his finals paper because a large portion of his submission was copied directly from a website. The professor found this out and gave him a low score. He was called to the professor's office and reprimanded for his behavior. He accepted his low score and promised to never do this again. Although he did not get the chance to redo his paper, he still got a passing grade for the course.
