One of my colleagues quit after two months of working as a researcher in my previous research due to scheduling conflicts between work and school. His contribution was primarily a literature review. When the awarding of Completion Research occurred, he went to the head of research and inquired as to why his name was on the operational research list. The research head explains the authorship criteria, and his name will appear in the acknowledgement.
