I was interviewed by a mentee for one of our published papers (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/16779052/). A few months later, I see a book and one of the articles was that paper but the author is now the mentee. He did edit the paper (which we wrote in first person point-of-view). So all instances of "we" became "they", and "us" became "them". But otherwise, all texts were the same.

I reported it to the book editor but no action was taken.
