1. I think it’s helpful because assessment will be simplier with EPAs. From what I understand the big outcome is broken down into smaller outcomes.
2. I’m not sure but I think development & validation of EPAs can be shared by teachers and students alike.
3. In Radiology, providing a provisional reading of an x-ray film is an example of an EPA to a First year resident and the provisional reading is being assessed either by the more Senior resident or the consultant. Depending on the year level and the number of rotation in each modality of each resident or fellow there are several EPAs.
