At the end of a 1-hour OPD face-to-face session in the retina clinic, the learners (medical students, residents and fellows) will be adept in

1. Identifying socio-economic political and cultural factors that directly or indirectly affects the patients’ illness.

2. Formulating doable solutions or interventions to the factors that affect their patients’ illness.

These are well-formulated outcomes, but you might want to choose a longer unit of instruction. A one-hour session might be too limiting. Maybe a rotation or sub-rotation of about at least 3-5 days or 1-4 weeks.
