At the end of the 2-week clinical clerkship rotation in ophthalmology, the student will be able to:

1) Perform a complete 5 point ophthalmologic examination, initial assessment, and plan for ophthalmic patients in the OPD and ER setting.

2) Communicate effectively with patients and caregiver, members of the healthcare team, and peers during provision of patient care and education.

I think these are attainable outcomes given the short duration of the rotation.
