- Preferred Muscle: Deltoid Muscle
- Origin: Acromial extremity of clavicle and acromion and spine of scapula
- Insertion: Deltoid tuberosity of humerus
- Action: Abducts, flexes, extends, and medially and laterally rotates arm
- Location: Lateral side of upper arm on the shoulder
