    • Insertion: Tibial tuberosity via patellar tendon
    • Action: Extends leg
  • Location: Lateral side of the thigh

 

2. 65-year-old Grandfather

  • Preferred Muscle: Deltoid Muscle
    • Origin: Acromial extremity of clavicle and acromion and spine of scapula
    • Insertion: Deltoid tuberosity of humerus
    • Action: Abducts, flexes, extends, and medially and laterally rotates arm
  • Location: Lateral side of upper arm on the shoulder
