In my clinical unit of the STROKE SERVICE, with the unique FOCI OF EXPERIENCE of managing the SPOKE & HUB STROKE PROJECT, the intended learning outcomes includes the following: interprofessional communication skills, management of healthcare teams, interprofessional collaboration, system-based approach in healthcare, development of compassion, empathy and resourcefulness, dedication to service and development of nationalism, social accountability.
Based on these outcomes, DOPS and MSF can be used in assessing the learner's (stroke fellow) clinical performance as he engages and effectively manages the stroke referral system as well improving the care of stroke patients in the community.
