Aside from an individual's inner desire to learn, assessment in general drives the curriculum, according to one of the videos presented on VLE. One useful strategy that can be used in my unit of instruction is testing. This motivates and compel residents to read despite their hectic schedules, knowing that an oral or written test will be administered. Testing allows for the monitoring of learners and the correction of errors in their skills and knowledge. At the end of the rotation, testing will help determine how much the student retained from the rotation.
