Based on Norcini’s criteria for good assessment , this has good and bad components of assessment .The clinical teacher provided a formative assessment with good catalytic and instructional effects. The evaluation is timely and an ongoing part of the teaching process by conducting weekly assessments using a checklist and giving feedback to students for progress. Since the strategy is bedside teaching/ward rounds, it stimulates learning by studying actual clinical cases. It is acceptable to both learners and teachers, as well as realistic and practical, because the assessment is based on the rotation's learning outcomes. The drawback of the assessment is that it is not done fairly because feedback is given as a group rather than individually, resulting in a uniform evaluation that is biased and erroneous interpretation of students' learning, making it unreliable and having low equivalence. The interns' final grade was completely based on formative assessment, with no summative evaluation, which might have increased the validity and reliability of the students' assessments.
