Assessment FOR Learning is made for the purpose of affecting teaching and learning in the short-term future. It involves planning, sharing learning goals, gathering student learnings and monitor students' progress.
In the college of medicine , assessment for learning among medical students especially medical clerks and interns, is done through regular clinical activities such as bedside rounds, endorsement conferences and case report presentations where we get to assess the student's clinical skills in history taking, physical examination, diagnosis and management of medical illnesses. Progress of the students are monitored through feedbacks and repeated exposure to various clinical assessment.
