1. What major challenge do you think you will encounter in applying what you have learned from anatomy?

Studying this course presents a number of difficulties. One difficulty is the vast amount of information a student must learn and internalize in a short amount of time. Moreover, the ability to visualize anatomical structures is hampered by the lack of opportunity to use human specimens. Such visualization cannot be accomplished just through the use of textbooks and regular lectures. Given these, I think I will have a hard time recalling some terms and concepts, as well as identifying parts of organs, in actual practice.

2. What are your plans to overcome this challenge?

To facilitate learning and memorization, I plan to do the following:

  • Read regularly
  • Take down notes
  • Create flash cards
  • Utilize review tools in the text books
  • Get help from online resources
