Reflecting on the lesson: Choose one concept in our lesson today, give a brief explanation about the concept and cite how you would apply this learning in your everyday life.

As we discuss and move forward along the anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system, I believe that adaptive immunity is one of the most significant concepts I could incorporate into my daily life. Specifically, now that we are in the middle of the pandemic, we are highly encouraged or even required to acquire vaccinations against COVID-19. According to studies, adaptive immunity develops in response to infection or vaccination against a microorganism. The body produces an immune response, preventing future infection with the microorganism. Hence, it is significant to acquire adaptive immunity, such as vaccines, against the Coronavirus to prevent the spread of the disease.
