Another example of disturbance in the internal environment is rise or decrease in body temperature. For example, every time your body temperature rises, a negative feedback loop acts to lower it. When the temperature rises, sensors will alert your brain's temperature-regulatory control center. Once, the information has been processed by the control center, effectors will be activated. Its function is to counteract the stimulus by lowering body temperature.
