  1. What is your opinion about the practice of family planning? Are you for it or against it?

Putting away my religious beliefs and practices, I fully support the practice of family planning. It is indeed vital to a new couple and also those families who have a lot of children. Having family planning indeed helps in improving maternal health and child survival. Indeed, when we meet the unmet need of contraceptives, there will definitely be a decrease of maternal and child mortality by 35%. (Guttmacher,2008). Also, it can decrease the risk of having STDs when one is using family planning.

  1. Are you in favor of the Reproductive Health Law and its provisions? Elaborate your answer.

I am definitely in favor of the RH law. The only thing I am wary about is how the government will implement it given how conservative our country is. Because of the lack of education, it usually results in an increase of teenage pregnancies which then follows overpopulation. In having comprehensive sex education, it will make people more aware about sex in general. Eventually having this will make our country more progressive and adaptive to changes.
