 1. What is your opinion about the practice of family planning? Are you for it or against it?

In my opinion, family planning is needed in every family. Family planning has a lot of advantages, the following are the advantages of family planning for the mother, child, and as well as the father, according to the Department of Health (DOH),’

  • Mother
    • Enables her to regain her health after delivery.
    • Gives enough time and opportunity to love and provide attention to her husband and children.
    • Gives more time for her family and own personal advancement.
    • When suffering from an illness, gives enough time for treatment and recovery.
  • Children
    • Healthy mothers produce healthy children.
    • Will get all the attention, security, love, and care they deserve.
  • Father
    • Lightens the burden and responsibility in supporting his family.
    • Enables him to give his children their basic needs (food, shelter, education, and better future).
    • Gives him time for his family and own personal advancement.
    • When suffering from an illness, gives enough time for treatment and recovery.

 2. Are you in favor of the Reproductive Health Law and its provisions? Elaborate your answer.

Yes, I am in favor of the Reproductive Health Law.  The Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Act of 2012, also known as the Reproductive Health Law or RH Law, and officially designated as Republic Act No. 10354, is a Philippine law that provided universal access to methods of contraception, fertility control, sexual education, and maternal care in the Philippines. There are a lot of benefits and advantages of this RH Law, such as Reproductive health education for the youth, prevention of abortion and management of post-abortion complications, prevention, and management of reproductive tract infections, HIV/AIDS, and sexually transmitted diseases, and many more.
