  • What is your opinion about the practice of family planning? Are you for it or against it?
    • I fully am for the practice of Family Planning(FP) for every willing Filipino. Not only does it help avoid unwanted pregnancies, it also offers protection against Sexually transmitted infections (STI). Childbearing and supporting a child can get expensive and possible detrimental to a child. Through FP, medical expenses and hospital visits are lessened. FP also gives people autonomy over their body; choosing what they think suits them best based on their principles and lived realities.
  • Are you in favor of the Reproductive Health Law and its provisions? Elaborate your answer.
    • Yes, I agree woth the provisions under the Reproductive Health Law as it does not just ensure that FP methods and resources are available and accessible to the public. It also respects the human right to health safety by regulating the sell and use of FP products. This way, side effects from using such products are monitored and those that are made with harmful substances can be taken off the market. It also dictates that sex education should be added to the curriculum, giving adolescents or students in reproductive age the chance to make well-informed decisions with regards to sexual intercourse.
