“Good Nutrition is a foundation of a child’s survival, health, and development”.

In my opinion, good nutrition is indeed a foundation of a child’s survival, health, and development. Children who are well-nourished are able to grow and develop healthily. They are able to learn, play and participate in every activity in their communities. They will have the will and eagerness to learn a lot of things and grow through their experiences. Good nutrition helps their brain and body to function at their maximum capacity.

On the other hand, children who are not nourished properly have the tendency to develop problems such as stunting, wasting, micronutrient deficiencies, and being overweight. Aside from this, they could acquire various diseases as they do not have proper nutrition.

Generally, this quotation is really the truth and reality of our lives. In order to survive and develop we need to have proper and good nutrition, this applies especially to children, for nutrition is vital during their age.
