Dent198 - AY 2021-2022: Additional Reminders on the Completion of Dent198 Requirements

Hope everyone had a restful break and is doing well.

Given the health break for students from 14-21 January 2022 issued by the City of Manila for both public and private schools, and the work suspension for UP Manila faculty and staff starting 12:00PM, 14 January 2022, until 21 January 2022 by virtue of Memorandum CCDP 2022-007, the deadline to submit Dent198 requirements to be issued a Final Grade is further moved to Monday, 31 January 2022, 11:59PM.

Additional Reminders:

Processing of the Certificate of Technical Approval will be started after endorsement by your Research Adviser (please refer to Section IV of the "Research Proposal Presentation Guidelines"). The Certificate will be sent to the Research Group by the Department of Community Dentistry after this has been signed by Dr. Santos and Dean Magtanong.
UPMREB Forms that need to be signed by Dr. Santos and Dean Magtanong must be sent to comment.cd.upm@up.edu.ph (CC mfmendoza3@up.edu.ph and your entire Research Team). Please attach the entire form/s to the e-mail and not just the individual page/s that needs to be signed.

RE: Basic Research Ethics Training Certificate

As mentioned during the sessions on the Research Proposal Format and the Course Synthesis, no certificates of training/attendance were prepared. Prof. Jimenez just required the Department to send UPM REB a list of the attendees of the Seminar which the UPM REB Secretariat can countercheck when the UPCD students submit their research proposal to UPM REB for ethical review.

This matter has been recently coordinated and confirmed with Prof. Jimenez. Please make sure the details of the Seminar (including the date) are indicated in your CVs in the research proposal submitted to UPM REB.
