Hello Joshua! I facilitate video production workshops for the faculty. One of the things I tell them is that if students speed up their lecture videos, perhaps they're talking too slowly? In my experience when I was still new to making videos, I spoke too carefully and slowly - enunciating the words to make sure they were clearly understood. However as time went by, I got back to the usual conversation pace. One advantage I do see is being able to rewind if you missed something.
