I downloaded several articles from Medical Teacher. They are not necessarily recent, but may provide you with additional insights on designing and evaluating student assessment and in formulating and evaluating test items.
After two sessions and several presentations, what will you consider as your major insights as far as constructing test items is concerned?
Please share your insights through this forum. Your participation is required and will be noted.

MPL Interactive
This is an interactive learning object I developed to illustrate how MPL is determined. Please take note that this is a simplified version and students are advised to read available materials for more details. This is my latest revision designed to correct major bugs that appear when material is deployed as an HTML material.
Recommended Textbook (available in the library):
An interactive learning material on assigning grades and on making pass/fail decisions.
This interactive package was developed by NSF using materials from Gronlund's book on Achievement Assessment.
An interactive session on how to use vlookup function of Excel to automatically generate grades.
This instructional video was developed to help you learn and eventually use the 'Pivot table' function of excel to generate a cross tabulation data that you can use for calculating test item difficulty and discrimination index. Because of the size, I opted to have it shared as a youtube video instructional material.
