BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations and hereditary breast and ovarian cancer

Majority of cases of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer are due to mutations in either the BRCA1 or the BRCA2 gene. This review papers elucidates on the role of mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes in hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.
