BIO 167 (Environmental Impact Assessment) 2024- 2025

This Foundations course seeks to provide students with the perspectives from the natural and social sciences in assessing and managing the environmental impacts.  It provides a framework and methodology for environmental impact assessment of the biophysical and socioeconomic systems; ecological, social and ethical bases of EIA; risk assessment and management; mitigation of negative impacts and enhancement of positive impacts; case studies.
