HI 201 Health Informatics (AY 2022-2023)

Flip

1. Flip is a video discussion board. Log in to the HI 201 group . Use your up.edu.ph or a gmail account only. Other email accounts will not be accepted.
2. Find the Week 1 topic. Answer this week’s driving question by recording a 90-second elevator pitch on why a health informatics professional (you!) should be on the team that implements universal healthcare.  
3. Students are encouraged to view the videos of other students. Leaving comments will be much appreciated. The elevator pitch will be evaluated according to the following rubric -

Blog post

1. Write a blog post answering the guide questions. To guide your work, check out this blog post rubric.
2. Write a blog post on how you planned your elevator pitch. Include a transcription of your Flip video, or a script if you prepared one before recording the video.
3. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can embed your Flip video in the blog post so the public can see the final product.
4. Reading the blog posts of other students and leaving comments is highly encouraged.

Twitter

1. Tweet the link to your blog post on the elevator pitch.  Mention @endocrine_witch and use the hashtags #HI201 and #MSHI in the tweet.
2. Craft tweets that will entice people to check out your blog post. Check out this Twitter rubric.
3. Reading the tweets of other students and replying is also highly encouraged.
