Activity Objectives:

Through this activity you should be able to:

    • Practice your skills in articulating and presenting scientific data and results 
    • Present relevance and implications of scientific findings in the context of previous studies  
    • Practice your skills in answering scientific questions
    • Critically assess presentations given by peers through feedback and questions


Group Instructions:

1. This is a group activity. Please check group assignment on course guide.

2. Each group will be pre-recording their report either as a short film or a powerpoint slide with embedded audio. Each member of the group should be speaking.

3. "Add Topic" for each report and entitle the Topic base on your report. 

4. Add the recorded output either as an embedded file or a youtube/Gdrive link. 

5. Questions/Feedback for the presentations will be addressed through this forum. 

6. Groups are provided 24 hrs to answer the questions. 

7. Each group will be evaluated based on the rubric attached here.


Individual Instructions:

1. This activity is also a peer exercise. 

2. Each person should provide feedback or ask a question for a presentation.

3. To maximize this learning opportunity, please engage with the presentation and be critical and professional in your assessment/feedback.

4. Feedback/Assessment is a way of helping each other improve, so please be constructive, specific, and respectful. 

5. Rate group presentations 1 to 5 (5 being the highest). Presentation with the highest score based on votes will get an incentive (depending on agreed scheme).

6. Individual participation is graded.
