Hello! I am Joyce Arianne V. Gomonit. You can call me Joyce, or by my last name instead since there is more than one Joyce in this class. By the end of this course, I expect to be equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude to be an effective and compassionate nurse ready to face all the phases of emergencies, disaster risk reduction, and management from preparation to dealing with the aftermath. Generally, I find it important to be prepared for unexpected events in life, hence, my personal goal for this course is to master what a nurse can do during emergencies or disasters should they arise.
