Hi, I'm Abegail Ascarraga, but you can call me 'Abby.' Others call me 'Ate Abby' because I might seem older than them, well technically I probably am but I'm definitely young at heart. As for my expectations for this course, well, I hope to deepen my knowledge of first aid interventions and be able to actively participate in fieldwork activities that will help us learn more ideas or new information related to disaster risk reduction and management. While as for my personal goals, I want to contribute meaningfully to the discussions in this course by sharing my insights and gaining new knowledge as well. I also hope to fully enjoy this fieldwork immersion experience wherever it may be, because aside from learning the knowledge and skills part we all need from this course, I want this to be a fun and memorable learning experience with my peers, professors, and all the people we will meet along the way.
