Hello, everyone! I’m Melissa Joy L. Co, you can call me Mel or Jana. My expectations for this course would be learning more about how to prepare communities for upcoming disasters, how to respond efficiently during emergencies as future nurses, and how to help in the recovery process afterward—both in theory and through hands-on experience. Personally, my goal is to be able to connect with and empathize with disaster-affected individuals, and to provide them not just with proper care but also with emotional support during such difficult times.
