I am apprehensive about my role as a clinical preceptor, questioning if I possess the knowledge, skills, techniques, and approaches to effectively communicate my intentions or the subject matter at hand. As I am not a full-time lecturer, I am only teaching small courses that do not necessitate extensive or advanced abilities from the students.

Several topics I regarded as my concerns or challenges are: Have I identified various learning and teaching methodologies? Students in the classroom exhibit diverse learning capacities and styles; therefore, to enhance effectiveness, I must utilize various teaching methods, styles, and strategies, whilst acknowledging the limitations of my conventional techniques. I am uncertain about my potential effectiveness as a clinical preceptor. Is it possible for them to get further knowledge from me? May I convey something of importance to them?

Secondly, I am apprehensive because it has been years since I engaged in clinical practice, suggesting there may be a substantial amount of material to read and evaluate. Numerous advancements in the clinical domain have been instituted and have already impacted the students; therefore, as a clinical preceptor, I must enhance my expertise in this field.

Nevertheless, I am here to acquire and enhance my knowledge in nursing education, mastering additional techniques, tactics, and methods to present the subject matter effectively and engagingly, so leaving a meaningful influence on the students whom I'll educating.
