Good day to all. This is your 3rd week in PN. We are almost halfway done with N121.1.
Instructions/reminders:
1) Kindly take the Hand Hygiene Retraining Post-Test sent by the HICU. QR code has been uploaded in the VLE. Pls mark done when accomplished.
2) QR code for the faculty-led seminar evaluation has been likewise uploaded in VLE. Kindly accomplish.
3) We encourage you to take the initiative to read on Primary Nursing so you'd understand the concept better. This will help in your NCPs and case presentaion, which we hope will be be translated to better patient care.
4) TAP for today will be for AM and PM shifts. PN is a 24/7 plan of care. The AM tap will include care during the morning shift which should be carried out by the AM nurse. The PM TAP will be for you. For tomorrow, Night Shift, your TAP will have AM, PM, and Night portions. You are expected to implement care and document only on the TAP of your corresponding shift. However, your plans should have been discussed with the nurses in the other shifts so that everyone is onboard with the plan and that there will be continuity of care.
5) Please walk in pairs or groups, if possible, when going home from the PM shift and coming in for the night shift.
