During my basic education years, I witnessed classmates committing plagiarism, often copying content from online sources without proper citations. Back then, there was little discussion on academic integrity, and these incidents went unreported. However, as the concept of plagiarism has become so relevant and became part of the class discussions, students nowadays have a better understanding of proper citation and referencing. As an educator, we also implemented stricter measures, such as plagiarism detection tools and discussions on ethical responsibility, fostering a more accountable approach to academic work.
